"Dynamics" is the first part of a series that centers around the life and relationships of army ranger Ty Black and his team mates. Nothing runs ever smoothly for any of them, and when inappropriate, unwanted feelings make their existence known, they find it hard to deal with the consequences. Escalation seems inevitable and all they can do is grappling for personal happiness the best way they can.

This appears to be meant as a sample of a larger work. There's no real plot here, or sufficient exposition to make much sense of the situation between this group of soldiers. The author just doesn't explain a lot of her references, leaving the reader confused about what's going on. For characters who are supposed to be macho fighting men, somehow they come off as a bunch of snarky queens to me. I have to say, the business with toasting marshmallows seemed to serve as a preemptive strike against these men coming off as very masculine. Maybe the author shouldn't have led with that, but it magnified everything else that seemed to emasculate these guys.Product details

This is very short a story indeed, but a harbinger of potentially very good things to come. The author knows how to create a full setting in a few lines. The idea of giving the story's point of view to a character who is very perceptive except when it comes to himself amused me.
Let us see whether she will keep up to this morcel.
This story was sweet. The characters were interesting and it was a bit of a different take than a lot of the stories you read.
Plot was ok, characters ok, wish there had been more meat to the story. Would I recommed, I guess so.
